I’m Luke, a 26 year old researcher studying a PhD in sports cardiology. Outside of studies, I love cycling running, hiking and rock climbing (anything that gets me out in nature)! 

Pet History 🐶
Unfortunately my outdoors commitments makes owning a pet difficult but I love dogs and have lots of experience dogsitting friends and families pets. In terms of dog history, I grew up with several dogs including a spoodle, adopted Maltese/Shih Tzu, golden retriever, adopted border collie and most recently a kelpie. I can deal with a broad variety of temperaments but ideally love a dog with as much energy / enthusiasm as me so we can exercise together!

Location 🏡 - 
I live in a townhouse with a very small courtyard but our home is 500m from Studley Park / Yarra Bend Park and has access to some of the best dog walks / runs in Melbourne. We are also 500m from citizens dog park if your dog would rather socialise with other dogs. 

Working enviro 📚-
Because I study during the day (though my hours are very flexible), My situation would work best for a fit dog who loves a run or a fast paced walk and is low-medium maintenance afterwards. Alternatively I am also open to any low maintenance dog (and can tire myself out with other hobbies).

Lots of photos / selfies included. My parents also had a video camera in the living room while I was dog sitting to have live updates of all our fun so not opposed to that either!
