ABOUT US:
We are a couple from Slovenia who loves animals, travelling and spending time in nature. We are both very active, we love to hike, swim and simply be in nature and in the company of animals. We are also very calm, kind and compassionate people. We recently relocated to Perth and are currently looking for work. We are non-smokers.
 
WHY WE LOVE TO PET SIT:
As a couple we both love travelling, getting to know different cultures, people and animals and we see pet sitting as a perfect opportunity to do just that. Since we cannot have our own pets at the moment, we are always searching for ways to be surrounded by animals. We understand how hard it is being away from your precious pets and we will make sure to take the best care of them and attend to their every need. We will also make sure to keep up with your property as it were our own.
 
OUR EXPERIENCE:
We both grew up in households with many different animals – Kaja with cats of varying ages and two parrots and Rebeka with cats, a Siberian Husky, Mongolian gerbils and fish. As a couple we have travelled around Europe through Workaway platform. During our stays with different hosts we gained precious experience of looking after different animals - cats, dogs, horses, goats and chicken, while also maintaining and taking care of different properties and doing gardening, painting and general maintenance. We have recently pet sat a 2-year-old Staffordshire bull terrier for 1 month and a half and a 4-year-old West Highland terrier for 3 days, both in Perth. 

Through our pet sitting experiences and home rentals we have always thoroughly looked after all sorts of properties. We have been renting apartments for the past 10 years and we always make sure to keep our living space tidy and clean and are used to all kinds of house chores. We also have some basic handyman experience. Although we are new to Madpaws, we will gladly provide external reviews from Workaway and Aussie house sitters platform.
