I love animals and have always lived in a house with a dog since I was a kid. Over the years I've had birds, minded rabbits and had my families pets when they go on holiday. I have a 12 year old Yorshire Terrier named Ace who is just as happy inside as he is playing outside, though he's still a young man in his own head the years are starting to slow him down. I've had and looked after family and friends mostly smaller dogs over the years like Maltese Terriers, Maltese/Shih Tzu, Pomeranium, Cairn Terriers etc..but have had a Labrador a few times as well.  We have 2 girls between 5 and 10 who love animals as well and the prospect of looking after more pets has proven to be very exciting to them.
I work from home full time with very occasional days in the office. Our house has a very big yard for a suburban home that can also be blocked off into smaller area's if your dog is not one to like big spaces. There is lots of area for a game of ball and heaps of places to go and investigate and smell! We have a large undercover area that can be made to be like another inside room, giving shelter if it's raining or windy and we have space inside or outside for your dog to sleep depending on what they prefer.
