My pet sitting spans over the last 30 years from caring for animals on properties, working at a zoo, and various pets ranging from dogs, cats and birds to livestock or turtles. I've assisted on farms and provided house and pet sitting services around Australia, most recently Canberra and the Jervis Bay region. This mostly began through friends as I loved looking after pets and homes, then it spread through word of mouth and referrals. I still maintain good relationships with the home/pet owners and often do multiple sits at the same homes.

I've also cared for high-maintenance pets like an elderly Weimaraner dog with a strict routine and diet as well as puppies.

I'm comfortable looking after plants and gardening, which is a favourite hobby of mine. Tending to vegetable patches or any other regular maintenance task is no issue for me. Overall, I've dealt with diverse situations and maintained large and high-maintenance homes and properties as my first priority is to ensure the pets and home is well looked after.

I work in government (ex-military) and generally work hybrid. Often three days at home and two half days in the office. This is quite flexible though and I'm able to change it to suit.
