You may have heard the news that Mad Paws has launched its Repeat Weekly Bookings (RWB) function for Pet Sitters. You may have also noticed that we’re really, really excited about it. The reason why is simple, amazing Sitters: RWB will change your daytime services for the better. Here’s how!
With RWB, you make more money from daytime services
Let’s get straight to the numbers: our figures show that Owners are 2x more likely to remain with RWB Sitters. Why? Well, with RWB, Owners no longer need to manually book each daytime service; confirm End of Stay; or leave a review after every booking. RWB also automatically triggers payment for each service, meaning Owners don’t need to spend time manually paying after every booking. For Sitters, that means you don’t need to chase up clients for payment after each service!
Completing RWBs improves your ranking in the Sitter search results
If you accept and complete RWBs, your ranking will improve in the daytime services search results. In other words, in addition to retaining more clients, you can attract new ones as well!
We’ve improved RWB to reflect Sitter feedback
Since launching RWB, we have received feedback from Sitters on how we could improve the function to meet their needs.* Specifically, Sitters asked for a faster rate of payment. Now, we’re happy to report that we’ve made changes to ensure RWB Sitters receive their payments regularly. As a result, you can enjoy the certainty of confirmed repeat bookings, while still receiving payment at the same rate as regular services.
You can monetise more of your Calendar
Once you’ve opted in to RWB, you can confirm your recurring bookings down to the hour. For instance, your daily schedule could look like this:
- Pet Day Care session from 9am – 4.30pm
- Dog Walk from 5 – 6pm
- Pet Hosting overnight
The exception is the Pet Sitting service, as you can’t offer additional services while you’re at the Owner’s house. Beyond that, RWB lets you cram your Calendar full of bookings.
You can depend on future bookings
RWB allows Sitters to confirm recurring bookings months ahead of schedule. Because of this, you can book other daytime and overnight services around long-term clients. At the same time, you still have the flexibility to amend bookings if you need to. Simply put, RWB gives you the assurance of long-term bookings without the constraints.
RWB takes away the Sitter admin
Like we mentioned earlier, RWB’s more streamlined booking process has already tested well with Owners. However, the lighter load on admin also benefits Sitters. With RWB, you’ll never need to manually book repeat services for a client; juggle Calendar commitments; or chase up Owners to confirm End of Stay. Instead, you can spend all of your time doing what you love: caring for pets.
