For some time, Pet Sitters have requested one function above all others: the ability to make bookings for clients. “When can we create bookings for clients?”, “Will we ever be able to create bookings for clients?”, and “Why can’t we create bookings for clients now?” are among some of the more frequent questions we’ve received. If you wanted some news to cheer you up, we have it for you on a silver platter.

Pet Sitters can now use the app to create bookings for clients.
“Hooray! So, uh, what will this mean for Pet Sitters?”
Once you’ve recovered from the shock of this surprise twist, allow us to talk you through it.
In all, you’ll be able to:
- Create a booking
- Select the type of service and dates
- Select the pets you’ll be looking after
- Add an additional service if required
- Approve the booking in one fell swoop
The aim of this feature is to empower Pet Sitters during the booking and client acquisition process. At this stage, Pet Sitters can only make bookings via the mobile app. As such, if you haven’t yet downloaded the app, please do so today. Once you have the app, you’ll find the Add Booking function in your Booking Details section.
It’s not just Pet Sitters who have requested this feature; many Pet Owners have told us they would rather have their Sitter organise the booking. In other words, everyone wins!
